    How to create an ALMS account

    This page explains the steps involved in creating an ALMS account.

    To create your account:

    1. Go to https://www.sierrawireless.com/router-solutions/alms/register/
    2. Select the location for your account.

      For customers outside these locations, we suggest using the EU region for account creation. Please contact Semtech Support if you have any questions or need a recommendation on where to create your account.

      The ALMS feature set is identical across all regions. The NA and EU regions also support Semtech Connectivity and can be managed from an ALMS account. AU and CAD accounts cannot manage Semtech Connectivity.

    3. On the next page, you’ll see a checklist. You only need two things: an unused email address (not already registered in ALMS) and confirmation of your data residency. Click Continue I have what I need.

    4. On the following page, click on Sign up.

    5. Create a New User Account. Enter your email address and then click Continue.

    6. You will be directed to a registration form. Enter additional new user account requirements.

      • New password
        • Your password must contain:
          • At least 15 characters
          • At least 3 of the following:
          • Lower case letters (a-z)
          • Upper case letters (A-Z)
          • Numbers (0-9)
          • Special characters (e.g. !@#$%^&*)
          • No more than 2 identical characters in a row
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Company

      Optional consent checkboxes:

      • Marketing profiling – Check this box to allow Semtech and its group companies to use your personal data for marketing profiling and advertising for Semtech products and services.

      • Future communications – Check this box to consent to receiving commercial electronic messages from Semtech, such as newsletters, event invitations, promotional and educational content, product updates, and transaction-related emails.

      By signing up, you agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge that your personal data is processed in accordance with the User Information Notice.

      Click the Sign up button. A Success! confirmation will appear when your account has been created.

    7. Accept the updated User Information Notice

      Upon first login, you may be prompted with a notice that Semtech has updated its User Information Notice. This notice describes what information is collected, how it is used, and how you can manage your personal data.

      Click ACCEPT to proceed to the ALMS portal.

    8. Complete the AirVantage Confirm Signup Form

      After your user account is created, you will be directed to the AirVantage Confirm Signup page. Fill in the following fields:

      • Email – pre-populated from your earlier registration
      • Full Name – e.g. Bob Smith
      • AirVantage Company – your company name, e.g. Semtech
      • Phone – enter in international format, e.g. +15556661234
      • City – your city, e.g. Vancouver
      • Industry - your industry

      Check the I agree to the Terms of Service checkbox, then click CONFIRM SIGN UP.

    9. You will be logged into the AirVantage platform. A Welcome to AirVantage Enterprise Platform email will also be sent.

    Account Billing and Payment

    The default offer used to provide AirLink Services is Pre-Paid (through your Semtech Partner). For more information on offers, please refer to Understanding Subscription Dates for Services in ALMS.
